"I want to take this opportunity to thank Albuquerque Donations and especially you Tracy Hogg for making our Lobo Wing of the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) event that we held earlier this month a success. Our "In Their Honor" (ITH) event was held this year out at the Four Hills Country Club to honor WW II, Korean and Viet Nam POW's. We had a great speaker this year, Captain J. Charlie Plumb, a POW who was shot down and imprisoned as a POW for over 6 years in Viet Nam. We had 197 people at our dinner that came for the speaker and our silent auction. We exceeded previous fund raisings this year and as usual Albuquerque Donations really helped us do this.
Our Lobo Wing of retired military war veterans cannot thank you enough for your help this year in making our event a success as you have in the past. "
Dick Donovan, April 27, 2011

"I wanted to let you know that our event was a huge success. With your help we raised just over $1,600 for the MS Society. Thank you so much for all your help in getting the gift certificates. You have such an amazing organization and I will be sure to tell EVERYONE just how awesome Albuquerque Donations is and we will be putting your name in our thank you’s. If you ever need a testimonial please feel free to contact me, I will be more than happy to write one. Thank you again and I look forward to working with you in the future."

We are sad to see a local business unexpectedly close while we thank Chocolate Bakery for their past participation and willingness to donate back to the community. If you have received gift certificates from Chocolate Bakery, there is only one location and it is no longer in business. There was no way that anyone could have known in advance. Unfortunately there is no recourse. AlbuquerqueDonations.com cannot reimburse any gift certificates as a result of a business shutting down and takes no portion or percentage of a donation. We will sadly miss Chocolate Bakery, a local business that was so willing to help nonprofits and give back. |
